Description

This 4-day/3-night extension to Alexandria begins and ends in Cairo. The cost includes: guides, transfers, transportation, entrance fees, and meals as selected. Alexandria was founded by Alexander the Great and became the most important city in Egypt during the Ptolemaic period.
Itinerary

Day 1, - Cairo/Alexandria
You will board your van for the drive to drive to Alexandria. Upon your arrival you will check into the Historic Cecil Hotel, on the Mediterranean. If time permits you will begin your sightseeing today.
O/N (Overnight) - Cecil Hotel, Alexandria

Day 2, - Alexandria
Today you will enjoy a full tour of Alexandria, including the Greco-Roman Museum, Kayet Bay Fortress, Pompey's Pillar, the Royal Jewelry Museum, the Catacombs, Montazah Palace Gardens, the Roman Amphitheatre and the new Alexandria Library.
O/N - Cecil Hotel, Alexandria

Day 3, - Alexandria/Tannis/Cairo
You will complete your sightseeing before heading South. Arriving back in Cairo you will check into your hotel and have the rest of the day free.
O/N - Cairo

Day 4, - Cairo
You will either transfer to the airport for your flight home or join your tour.
